Talk about being the master accomplisher today. I love having days off from work so that I can spend them checking off all the goals that I have set for myself and for Reel Pride. Today was no exception. I accomplished so many things that I wanted to do. However, I totally forgot to mark in my calendar that I was supposed to be hanging out with Jenna & Mike and so that derailed my plans to work on Reel Pride, but in totally a good way! We hung out, went for Pho, drove out to Lockport to have ice cream, and then toured around a bit before we all headed home to pass out with our food coma’s.
I really wish that I was able to enjoy days off, but it always seems like there are so many tasks around the house that I need to get through. Today was no exception. I am suffering the consequences of having moved everything into the dining room and trying to get everything reorganized. My evening was wonderful as I had the opportunity to attend RuPaul’s Battle of the season with Mike T and then headed over to Club 200 for a drink afterwards. There was an interesting emotional moment that happened though when I realized that I was in a gay bar which I have always felt was my safe space.
It is time for another video… because who doesn’t love another video?
Today is a really exciting day for me. I am celebrating the first day of the start of the last year in my 20’s… aka I just turned 29. I am pretty excited about starting another year and have set some new goals for myself.
I wanted to start this year by looking back at some of the crazy memories we have made over the last year. It has been a lot of fun and I wanted to share them with all of you.
Check it out below!
I didn’t get around to posting a video last week… So here is my video to make up for it.
Well it has been another long delay, but I promised myself today was going to be a video blog… So here it is!
It seems like most of young people have gone through drivers education. However, the moment you turn your vehicle out onto the public roads everything you learned no longer applies.
Driving has definitely become a battle of survival of the fittest. I found this video on YouTube and thought it was an extremely accurate educational film on how to drive in the real world.
Let me know if you agree or disagree in the comments below.
What a weekend. Nothing got accomplished, so today has become a very busy day of getting caught up. Here is a quick video before I start my day.
Man it has been way too long since I have curled up with my keyboard and typed out a blog post. I am really excited to announce today that I have relaunched my website. I apologize that I took so long to get back onto the inter web, but sometimes life happens and we are forced to accept things happening in our life that weren’t expected. At least that is what happened in my case.
I am not going to write a long post tonight, you’ll have to wait for that to happen in the next few days. However, I will leave you with my latest YouTube video to tie you over until I have the chance to write again. Have a SuperSunday and don’t forget to subscribe!
Recently I have been going through old photos on my computer and came across this video I recorded. I had the opportunity to work as a flight operations co-ordinator for Calm Air International. Part of our job training included a tour of the ground operations based out of Thompson, Manitoba, Canada. While we were there, they had one of the ATR’s on jacks to do a test of the landing gear.
